Jan. 7, 2017 Pop-up gallery “Sackgesichter” (‘sack faces’)

Today, the pop-up gallery “Sackgesichter” finished at Wegner with an end-of exhibition event. On 30 November 2016, the artist and photographer Nicola Rübenberg had the pleasure of welcoming 180 guests. Every sack has a story. The artist immortalises the unique pieces free hand on original Hamburg coffee sacks; they also include portraits of well-known celebrities. Those interested in art were able to admire Nicola Rübenberg’s unique artwork every Tuesday to Friday from 4 pm throughout December. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 pm onwards, an after work event “Kunst_Voll” took place.

Dec. 12, 2016 Christmas market at Rehrstieg Galleria, Neuwiedenthal

A Christmas market with a villagey feel took place in front of the Rehrstieg Galleria Neuwiedenthal for the first time. Apart from the traditional products on offer, such as mulled wine, waffles and bratwurst, different choirs added to the seasonal atmosphere by performing Christmas music from 4–10 December 2016. There was also a varied programme just for children. Generously supported by the advertising association and Wegner Immobilien, the Christmas market was enjoyed by many visitors both from Hamburg and surrounding areas.

Nov. 1, 2016 Redevelopment in Neuwiedenthal

Wegner Immobilien is currently carrying out extensive redevelopment work at the shopping centre in Neuwiedenthal. This includes redoing a large part of the façade as well as renovating three of the centre’s entrances. The roofs of the REWE and HASPA branches have also been completely replaced in the process. The REWE branch car park has been completely reconstructed. In the same period, extensive refurbishment of two residential units also took place.

Oct. 17, 2016 Wegner Immobilien expands its portfolio

In 2016, Wegner Immobilien was able to acquire new properties in different sectors. Adjacent to the shopping centre in Neuwiedenthal, which was already in its portfolio, Wegner Immobilien acquired the adjoining premises of the Hamburg Sparkasse. Its portfolio also had the addition of a large civic centre in Mülheim, apartment blocks in Holm and Itzehoe, and an office block in Eiffestraße in Hamburg.
